I have managed a few hours of arty fun over the last week or so, here are some sneaky peeks at what I've been up to....
.... mini journals and mini canvas....
And of course its that time again - show and tell for the 365 Art Calendar hosted by
Kate - although of course it will be a 366 Calendar this year! Did you remember to add a February 29th for leap year?
Here's how mine started out - I went with a black and red theme using
Dylusions rose pink and red paint and hot pink and granite spray inks...
I had a little dig through my stash of scrap paper and found Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling and Suet Pudding papers for the journal blocks then I used some black paint on my old Making Memories alphabet foam stamps for the month title and voila - February is ready to go - a day early!
But I was late with January - didn't get round to posting at all - here it is completed...
... continuing the challenge to myself to work with the colour purple more.
Well these sneaky peeks are looking fabulous, can't wait to see them in RL. Great journal pages with lovely colours. Am sending this from new iPad!!!! Can't wait to see you on Friday xx
ReplyDeleteoooh loving the sneek peek of the journals and canvases Sandi and the colours pop on your calendar pages...gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteYou have been quick with your new page Sandy - love purple too.
ReplyDeleteLovely work, Sandy - love those pages and the canvases and mini journals look great. Teacher's pet, though - I prepped my pages for Feb then decided to stamp all over one, using a huge stamp - it didn't work, so I'm not sure what to do with it now and don't have time - duh! I'll be late, of course... see you there soon, though x
ReplyDeleteThe sneeks look so tempting waiting to see all of them. Great 366 pages. Prayers for good results. x C
